Shrewsbury Museum & Art Gallery offers a stunning venue for special occasions in the historic heart of Shrewsbury. Guests will arrive by passing through the town’s picturesque Square into the building’s fine neo-classical facade.

Once inside you will find a range of beautiful contemporary and historic spaces from our balcony, overlooking the grandeur of a Victorian music hall, to the more intimate Vaughan’s Mansion nestled within a medieval merchant’s house.

The Walker Suite offers a bright well-equipped meeting and workshop space and our Special Exhibition Gallery, a large formal space overlooking the Square (also available for hire).

SM&AG is perfect for weddings and evening receptions, corporate events, meetings, exhibitions, creative workshops and film screenings. Our unique spaces create an impressive backdrop which will make any event memorable.

We can accommodate bookings up to 100 people and can provide various facilities and services to make your event a success from flip charts to wedding stewards.
